Laura Brogden and Nicole Wellington from ETC will be hosting a book club this spring featuring Common Ground: Second Language Acquisition Theory Goes to the Classroom by Florencia Henshaw.  This language book explores how to apply second language acquisition principles to actual classroom scenarios, so we will be discussing how we can apply techniques and best practices to our Latin classes. 

Our first meeting will be from 6-7pm EST on Tuesday, February 18 via Zoom.  We are hoping to meet once per month this spring with our culminating meeting at Institute (also offered virtually for those who can't attend). We're also trying to get Florencia to either be at Institute or at least do a virtual session in tandem with us!
